Construction Stormwater Management Compliance Workshop

Topics include: How to comply with the New Statewide Construction General Permit; simple and effective stormwater BMPs (Best Management Practices) for small and large construction projects; selecting and maintaining BMPs during construction; monitoring and reporting requirements; post construction stormwater management techniques.

2010 International Low Impact Development Conference
April 11-14, 2010, Westin San Francisco Airport Hotel, San Francisco
The 2010 International LID Conference will highlight new and continuing work including research, developments, and community adoption of LID throughout the United States and internationally. The Conference will open with workshops on Sunday afternoon. The three-day technical program, Monday-Wednesday, will include four technical tracks. Field trips to sites that demonstrate successful applications of LID will also be scheduled.

SCVURPPP Annual C.3. Stormwater Workshop
June 8, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, Quinlan Community Center, Cupertino
“Complying with New Stormwater Requirements for New and Redevelopment Projects”
This full-day workshop will include regulatory updates on the Municipal Regional Permit and a panel presentation on implementing stormwater requirements at local new and redevelopment projects. There will be two tracks in the afternoon session. One track will offer an introduction to hydromodification management requirements and the Bay Area Hydrology Model. The other track will offer advanced training on low impact development topics including rainwater harvesting, green roofs, soil specifications, and retrofitting impervious areas with landscaping.
The Workshop will also include vendor exhibits.
